We are seeking a passionate and driven sales professional to represent and develop our portfolio and interests in the Vancouver area.  This territory includes the highly sought after downtown Vancouver on-premise territory and some of leading retailers in the city.  This is an on-premise and retail blended sales role with a heavy focus on Vancouver on-premise. 

Ideally, interested applicants will be based within the city of Vancouver or the immediate surrounding  area. This role involves driving on a regular basis. Some evening and weekend work is required from time to time. All applicants must possess a valid BC driver's license and passport. The ability and willingness to carry 40lbs (a typical case of wine or spirits) is required to hold this position.

 Your Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales, distribution and display targets

  • Provide timely and professional service to both retail and on-premise customers

  • Secure shelf and fridge placements in private retail locations

  • Secure drink features, by-the-glass and by-the-bottle placements in key on-premise locations 

  • Work collaboratively with BC Liquor Stores (Government owned Retail) staff and management to ensure strong product knowledge of all Renaissance listed products

  • Provide our customers with effective post placement sales support through product activation, education and other activities as needed

  • Plan and prepare each week to avoid wasted time and reduce inefficient travel

  • Carefully record and track all sales activities in our CRM platform

  • Host and entertain our winery partners and suppliers with the utmost enthusiasm and professionalism

  • Actively participate in sales meetings, company gatherings, tastings and events

  • Work collaboratively with our marketing, accounting and logistics team members

  • Communicate quickly and effectively internally and with our customers

 Your attributes and experience to ensure success in the position:

  • A strong sense of urgency during your workday 

  • A willingness and desire to solve problems and multitask

  • Possess excellent communication and time management skills

  • Computer literacy and comfort with modern office software

  • An interest in wine and spirits of all kinds

  • WSET or similar training is a major asset
