A Day in a Life for a Restaurant Supervisor
- Our Restaurant Supervisor will lead a team of hospitality professionals ensuring the delivery of a five-star culinary dining experience for guests.
- With your consistent attention to detail and outstanding organization skills you will work closely with the Guest Experience Manager and Restaurant Chef to execute a smooth and flawless operation.
- You will ensure optimal performance by being a consistent presence on the floor to support and lead the team to deliver service excellence.
- You will work alongside the Restaurant Chef to rally the team and create vibrancy, style and buzz with our product and service.
- Motivate, lead, coach and monitor the performance levels of all team members.
- Direct as well as participate in the training and coaching of new and existing team members.
- Follow up on guest complaints and ensure appropriate internal follow up, including implementing training resolutions and effective performance management where applicable.
What We’re Looking For:
- Service focused personality is essential and 2 years’ leadership experience in food & beverage.
- Demonstrated passion for the food and beverage industry and knowledge of current trends.
- Track record of proven results in visitor and employee satisfaction.
- A personal passion for food and wine is a must; wine education is an asset.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings.
- Strong working knowledge of POS systems.
- Current Serving it Right Certification.
