  Assistant Restaurant Manager – Excellent Staff Housing & 3 Meals per Day!

The 94-room Relais & Châteaux Post Hotel & Spa is located in the heart of Banff National park in the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will:

·         Oversee Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Service

·         Be responsible for day to day restaurant operation and engage with guests

·         Be responsible for maintaining high level of customer service and satisfaction

·         Effectively delegate jobs and responsibilities to restaurant staff

·         Communicate with owners to ensure effective running of the business as well as customer satisfaction

·         Assist in executing restaurant events (including wine dinners, group luncheons and weddings)

·         Comply with all health and safety regulations.

·         Work alongside the Sommelier & Maitre D’Hotel for proper execution of service

·         Organise and oversee regular training of all restaurant staff concerning the menu, customer service and hospitality

·         Oversee work schedules and monitor staff performance

·         Deal with possible customer complaints and ensure guest satisfaction

Skills requirements:

                Education: completion of related certification

                Work experience:  minimum 5 years as fine dining server, 2 years in fine-dining restaurant management

Must have legal permission to work in Canada

 

 

 

 

Salary: TBD;

Staff accommodation & 3 meals a day provided at very reasonable rate

· We can assist international workers from certain countries with acquiring “Young Professionals” visa from the IEC program

· 2 days off per week, daily break in the afternoon

· Special vacation time off during annual spring and fall closures
