Executive Pastry Chef – Excellent Staff Housing & 3 Meals per Day!
The 94-room Relais & Châteaux Post Hotel & Spa is located in the heart of Banff National park in the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains. Requirements:
- To be totally customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach
- To be responsible for the preparation of all pastries and breads, and plated desserts and to maintain high quality standards of establishment
- Excellent knowledge of pastry and baked goods
- Efficient professional, willing to learn new things in our kitchen
Skills requirements:
- Cook Red Seal Certificate in Pastry or equivalent international certification
- Additional 3 – 5 years experience in an internationally reputable culinary establishment
- Fluent in English
Must have legal permission to work in Canada to be considered, no LMIA provided
Job Description:
- To be fully aware of the preparation and service of all desserts on the hotel menus
- To prepare and present desserts on hotel menus according to Post Hotel’s expectations
- Duties associated with this role includes preparing pastries, breads, desserts, breakfast baked goods, and create decorative food displays for special events
- Create new recipes
- Instruct helpers in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food

Staff Accommodation Available: Private studio apartment and 3 meals per day, $680 to $750 per month.
