Responsibilities Include: Planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities. Creating and modifying menus to meet quality standards. Estimating food requirements and food /labour costs. Hire kand supervise kitchen staff and activities. Rectify arrising problems or complaints. Give prepared plates the "final touch". Perform admin. duties. Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Menu prepping for weddings and parties.
Requirements:
Proven working wxperience as a head chef(5-10years)
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resovle problems quickly
Capable of delegating and multi-tasking
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Schooling completed in the Culinary Arts field
