Job Description
- Work with Chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with Bistro identity and vision
- Create tasting menus for special events; assist in planning and executing catered and banquet events
- Train and develop new cooks
- Manage kitchen associates and assist Chef with performance management as well as menus
- Make sure hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food prep; enforce food safe and safety regulations
- Order supplies and maintain stock levels
- Assist in inventory and recording inventory levels
- Maintain positive, professional, solutions focused apporoach with all coworkers leading by example
- Fill in, when needed in all aspects of kitchen operation
- Maintain equipment, sanitary conditions of the kitchen and general clean up and organizing
Food Safe certificate required.
5 years previous cooking experience required.
