Job Description

  • Work with Chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with Bistro identity and vision
  • Create tasting menus for special events; assist in planning and executing catered and banquet events
  • Train and develop new cooks
  • Manage kitchen associates and assist Chef with performance management as well as menus
  • Make sure hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food prep; enforce food safe and safety regulations
  • Order supplies and maintain stock levels
  • Assist in inventory and recording inventory levels
  • Maintain positive, professional, solutions focused  apporoach with all coworkers leading by example
  • Fill in, when needed in all aspects of kitchen operation
  • Maintain equipment, sanitary conditions of the kitchen and general clean up and organizing

Food Safe certificate required.

5 years previous cooking experience required.
