Hernder Estate Wines established in 1993 and Harvest Estate Wines established in 2001 is now looking for a focused, driven individual that is up for a challenge.  Executing all winemaking activities in conjunction with Proprietor and Cellar Maker, this individual will be involved with crush, fermentation management, lab analysis, barrel and inventory management and blending/stabilization/filtration.

The ideal candidate must have

-    experience in cellar operations and execute all winemaking activities

-    oversee the entire production process to produce quality award winning wines including harvesting, crushing, fermentation, aging, blending and bottling

-    manage inventory levels of supplies and materials used in the production

-    excellent oral and written communication skills, computer knowledge and email

-    accurate record keeping for inventory, excise and lcbo audits

-    works well under pressure and has the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise

-    has a true passion and a love for wine, will be asked to attend special events, tastings and interact with customers at the Estate and wine fans on social media. Expected to take part in the community as Hernder’s proud winemaker.
