Riedel Glass Works (Riedel and Nachtmann), a family owned and managed international leader in the manufacture of high quality stemware, barware and tabletop items seeks Jr. Regional Sales Manager to manage British Columbia, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Alberta. Candidate needs to live preferably in the Greater Vancouver area.
Candidate will work with the Company’s independent sales agents, as well as directly with our distributors to develop and maintain on-premise and retail accounts. The right candidate must be productive, results-oriented, organized and a self-starter. Must be a spokesperson for the Company, comfortable presenting to a public audience. This position reports directly to the Regional Territory Manager in CAN and upper management.
The job duties include, but are not limited to:
• Prospecting
• Generating sales
• Maintaining existing accounts, relationships, and distribution
• Responding to customers’ needs after sale
• Planning and territory management
• Attending quarterly meetings with sales agents
• Presenting new products
• Conducting consumer and trade tastings
• Merchandising of product
• Submitting weekly reports to Management
• Extensive travel
Qualifications:
• Thorough wine knowledge
• Minimum 3-5 years sales experience
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Team Player
• Proficient in the use of computer software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet/Email, etc., and in the use of modern communication tools.
