VINEYARD OPERATOR AND ASSISTANT WINEMAKER
We are looking for someone to take over the vineyard and winery operations of a small, pedigreed estate winery on the coast of British Columbia. Our vineyard is fifteen years old, and we have an established reputation for producing wines of character and consistent quality.
This position is the core of a small, dedicated team operating under the overall direction of the owners. Starting date can be any time up to September of 2015.
For seasoned operators, this is an opportunity to “scale down” or bring more diversity to their work.
Candidates newer to the industry have the opportunity to learn all aspects of running an estate winery. Fundamental knowledge and experience in grape-growing and winemaking is necessary, but additional training would be provided to candidates with good potential to grow into the responsibilities.
An opportunity also exists in marketing and sales which may be of interest to the applicant, or to a partner or spouse.
Depending on requirements, on-site accommodation may be available.
