Monte Creek Ranch is a new and exciting winery being constructed in the Thompson Okanagan. We are looking for an energetic and positive individual to lead our sales growth in the BC Interior
Role Summary
As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for driving the sales and marketing objectives of Monte Creek Ranch. The Primary focus of this role is to build the MCR brand by securing new accounts and maximize listings in high-volume and opportunity accounts. Candidate must be a self-starter and display strong interpersonal skills, administrative qualities and have a proven track-record of being competitive, results-driven, detail-oriented and have a passion for wine.
Responsibilities
Sales Results
- Drive growth and maximize sales revenue and volume in territory by securing new accounts, new listings and features
- Implement and execute regional sales plans by following optimal coverage and service standards
- Deliver targeted objectives for brand distribution
- Implement marketing and promotional programs to build brand awareness
Financial/Administrative
- Operate territory within approved expense budget
- Preparation of weekly/monthly summaries/projects and submitting to General Manager in timely manner
- Maintain up-to-date account and expense information
Business Development
- Maintain productive business relationships with all key licensee and retail personnel
- Develop new business opportunities through sound public relation activities and superior customer service
- Conducting presentations to various interest groups (staff training, imparting wine knowledge, ect.)
- Ensuring prompt and proper handling of all customer concerns and complaints
- Maintaining exemplary professional conduct and accepted social and industry practices when representing the interests of MCR
- Monitor competitor activities, market developments, market/product opportunities
Working Conditions
- Regular communication with customers and General Manager
- Work independently and without constant supervision
- Prompt in follow-up both internal and external
- Frequent work outside of regular business hours
- Must maintain a clean driving record
