Hidden Bench Vineyards and Winery is a small, family owned and operated, premium wine producer situated on the Beamsville Bench, Ontario. Our critically acclaimed estate wines are produced with focused attention from vineyard to bottle. Our team is looking for a highly motivated and focused individual with a passionate desire to help grow and expand our business.
We are looking for a sales focused individual with a can-do attitude to manage and expand the Hidden Bench retail and direct to consumer operations. Located at the winery, this position entails weekend work and some holidays.
Reporting to the Owner / General Manager, the candidate will have:
-An energetic, positive personality with some experience in the Wine or Hospitality Industry
- Passion for the Canadian Wine Industry
- A university degree or equivalent with strong planning and business development skills
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a management position with good communication skills
- Advanced computer skills(Including but not limited to Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Social media skills and the ability to develop and implement a social media communication strategy
-Strong attention to detail and applied organizational and administrative skills coupled with the ability to multi-task
-The ability to lift 40lbs
-Knowledge of conversational French would be an asset
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role will best suit the individual who thrives in a fast paced, growth oriented environment. The reponsibilites include but are not limited to:
- Management and scheduling of retail staff team
-Administration and logistics of sales to the distribution channels
- On-going maintenance of products and inventory
- Retail sales including weekends and some holidays
- Management, growth and reporting of DTC/Retail store sales with budget delivery responsibility
- Development and execution of ongoing Social Media, web and events strategy
- Recruitment and training of seasonal sales associates
-Management and preparation of monthly wine inventory
