We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team! This position is responsible for the overall management and success of our Wine Club as well as other Direct-to Consumer sales (on-line & licensee orders).
Responsible for:
Overall management and success of Wine Club sales, inventory and availability, assists in program development to support the wine club strategy.
Sets long and short term goals for Wine Club sales.
Wine club recruitment, retention and reactivation along with developing shipment schedules, promotions, and events for members.
Develops calendar of events and activities for members collaboratively with the Hospitality Manager
Execution of wine club events at the winery and offsite if required.
Provides prompt and friendly customer service via phone & email for all members. Oversees direct communication to the wine club members, handles all requests and feedback, conducts wine club tours and special tastings.
Trains retail team on wine club processes and perks.
Maintains all sales and customer data including order details, updates payment and shipping information.
Coordinates shipments, processes orders through POS, and ships all wine club packages.
Coordinates shipments of all licnesee orders and on-line orders.
Supports the retail team as a supervisor and keyholder, working a sharing of weekend days in the Tasting Room.
Represent Fielding Estate Winery at off-site industry and consumer events.
Qualifications include:
A passion for the Niagara wine industry.
Prior Wine Club administration preferred.
Minimum of one year experience in premium wine sales with an emphasis on customer service.
Ability and willingness to upsell
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently
Prior supervisory experience and the ability to lead and direct other staff to ensure tasks are completed.
Strong computer skills, especially Word and Excel
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks under time restraints
Must be very organized and detail oriented
Ability to lift 40lbs. Ascend and decent stairs.
Ability to work Sunday – Thursday. (Sunday can be substituted for Saturday), including closing shifts which vary between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm (seasonally).
