Store Manager
Our Manager performs numerous duties essential to running a retail Liquor Store. Key areas of responsibility include customer care, labour management, store operations, preparing reports and feedback to the COO.
Customer care responsibilities include ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Labour management duties consist of hiring, training, coaching, and motivating employees.
Handling business operations requires a number of responsibilities, such as delegating tasks, ordering supplies, overseeing payroll, tracking sales numbers, overseeing marketing, and implementing new programs to increase sales.
Preparing reports and feedback to the COO requires you to analyze our current processes, and make recommendations for improvement.
Essentially, your role is to facilitate a positive and memorable customer experience while at the same time implementing and evaluating processes that drive store profitability.
Primary areas of responsibility:
Ø Schedule hours for all staff within a labour budget provided by the COO
Ø Record and submit payroll to the Head Office
Ø Assist in planning and execution of promotions online and in-store
Ø Oversee distribution of monthly E-blasts, and Social Media
Ø Assist in planning all in-store tastings and events, and oversee successful execution
Ø Ensure all daily duties pertaining to store operations are completed thoroughly and efficiently
Ø Collaborate with the wine operations team to create new opportunities for growth at store level
Ø Take responsibility for daily cash reconciliation
Ø Interview and hire potential new staff
Ø Oversee and take responsibility for inventory management at store level
Ø Conduct performance reviews for all front line staff according to schedule set by Head Ofiice.
Ø Maintain employee records including disciplinary actions
Ø Respond to customer emails, or escalate as deemed necessary
Ø Assist in developing a training plan, and train all new staff using set guidelines
Ø Ensuring employees adhere to personal appearance and hygiene standards
Ø Responsible for overall appearance and maintenance of the store
Ø All other duties as assigned to you by management
