We are looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented individual to join our team as Marketing & Logistics Coordinator, Western Canada. This role plays an integral part in planning and executing marketing programs for all Western Canada liquor boards. This Marketing and Logistics Coordinator position is an opportunity to build a dynamic skill set and obtain wide ranging experience in both marketing and logistics activities and with close collaboration with sales teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing Support (75%)

·     Lead the completion of marketing program applications across the West. ie) Shelf talkers & necktags, image programs, value-adds, thematics, TASTE Magazine, in-store tastings, special events and bottle images for liquor board websites;

·     Work with the Graphic Designer for artwork design and coordinate in-house printing and distribution (in coordination with Sales Coordinator) for promotional, sales, and event materials as assigned by marketing/sales managers.  All materials to be properly filed on the local AWSM Drive;

·     Submit new product registrations and listing applications for all markets (BC/AB/SK/MB), source/submit samples and maintain a summary report;

·     Coordinate with Sales & Marketing on completion of requisite forms for MB/SK special order and consignments applications;

·     Evaluate marketing opportunities across the West including event sponsorship and advertising;

·     Assist Graphic designer with the AWSM website, Social Media and SharePoint/Vault maintenance and development, when required;

·     Coordinate press samples for media and application into local wine and spirit competitions;

·     Lead bi-monthly price list updates for all 4 Western Provinces, working closely with the Graphic Designer;

·     Assist in quarterly roll-out presentations in coordination with Western Canada Marketing Managers;

·     Source POS and lead coordination/distribution with regional Sales Coordinators;

·     Work with BC Sales Coordinator to manage the BC warehouse and POS inventory and catalogue.  Coordinate a bi-annual warehouse clean out;

Logistics Support: (25%)

·     Verify and process MB/SK bond transfer PO’s to BCLDB Customs/CWFS (Est 15 weekly);

·     Post all MB/SK direct and bond transfer PO’s into the Order Management System;

·     Download MB and SK inventory data from Liquor Board web sites; verify accuracy of inventory balances and distribute an inventory report to sales team on a weekly basis;

·     Monitor SK direct order PO’s via download from SK Lion website monthly and coordinate with Finance to ensure suppliers are invoiced accordingly;

·     Administer Consular charity events and general charity donations;

·     Produce weekly Monarch and Everything Wine Inventory reports;

·     Arrange customs clearance/delivery of all wine samples to the AWSM office;

·     Maintain the Western Canada product information data base;

·     Holiday back-fill for Logistics Manager and Business & Costing Analyst back-up; 

General Administration:

·     Phone coverage (as per office schedule)

Job Requirements:

·       Education: University degree.

·       Skills: Must have excellent analytical skills. Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work in a matrix structure.

·       Knowledge:  Excellent proficiency in MS Office is required including experience utilizing pivot tables. 

·       Other: Must have and maintain a valid Canadian Passport. 

·       Preferred: Knowledge of Western Canada liquor board rules and regulations. French is an asset but not a requirement;
