Territory Manager
We are looking to add a skilled, enthusiastic and driven individual to our team in British Columbia on a fixed term contract. The contract will be to cover a maternity leave effective today, with the return date to be set in the near future. The chosen Territory Manager will cover the following geographic areas: Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler. The primary responsibility of the Territory Manager is to provide service to Government Liquor Stores, Private Liquor Stores and On Premise accounts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and generating sales growth in respective territory
- Managing designated budgets on a daily basis to grow business
- Manage route plans and account visits to accomplish daily tasks within work day
- Ability to forecast volume estimates for account purchases utilizing sales data
- Participate in supplier visits, trade events, marketing blitz programs, and consumer events, all of which may fall outside of normal business hours
- Knowledge of wine (WSET 2 or greater) is a significant asset and will be of a great advantage to the success of this role
- Managing business related expenses and providing feedback on spending activities
