This position coordinates and executes promotional activities related to all marketing programs. The Trade Marketing Coordinator works directly with the sales team, Field Sales Manager and Director of Sales to provide support with any general sales-related administrative tasks.
Principal duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sales & Marketing
- Creating and maintaining the yearly programming calendar
- Updating and distributing monthly summary sheets, price guide, product sell sheets, accolades
- Submitting monthly marketing applications to the BCLDB for Wholesale Price Promotions, Savvy Shopper Flyer, In Store Tastings, Shelf Talkers, Necktags, Value Ads, Displays and Special Events
- Staffing and tracking in store tastings
- Submitting registration and listing applications for new products
- Coordinating with the brand team in the development of POS materials for printing locally
- Event coordination for Cornucopia, IVSA and any other local wine events
- Manage, attend all meetings, and coordinate all supplier booths at the Vancouver International Wine Festival
Administration
- Coordinating sample pick up, and shipments as needed locally and to other provinces
- Manage daily office upkeep including answering the phones, shipping and receiving, ordering office supplies, printing requests from sales reps
- Submitting all invoices and manage the monthly budget tracking
- Booking supplier accommodations when they visit the market
- Help coordinate team meetings, events and training seminars
Education & experience:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in marketing or other relevant discipline
- Related experience (1-2 years) in sales coordination or customer service
- Excellent communication and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
We are looking for someone who is a team player, self-motivated, highly organized and can keep multiple projects moving forward to deliver on schedule.
