Primary Purpose of Role
|
· Manage the sales and profit potential within the Key Chain Retail Channel with the objective of maximizing sales, distribution and display support on all products

Key Decision Making in this Role:
|
· Build a CDP (Customer Development Plan) by customer to align our activity with their objectives.
· Make category based decisions with each customer to drive distribution & rate of sale.
· Build promotional plans to execute the CDP strategy by customer
|
|
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
|
- Develop profitable partnerships that drive distribution & visibility for our suppliers
- Develop annual business plans for core brands that deliver against corporate objectives
- Supports supplier visits, events as well as leads Team meetings when RD is out of market
- Guides others in understanding and acting upon Customer, Consumer and Industry insights
- Adapts knowledge of customer strategies to business strategy optimizing sales potential
- Creates and delivers creative customer presentations to achieve incremental opportunities
- Seeks, creates and develops “Pull Through” strategies that focus on brand consumption
- Able to translate customer specific data into impactful action items that produce results
- Utilizes information benchmarking our performance and understands strategic implications
- Navigates the AGLC/Connect websites with ease and understands the various platforms
- Leverages current relationships to expand Lifford Brands across the Retail Chain Business

Key Challenges in Achieving Goal(s):
|
|
- Cut through the Key Chain hierarchy & make sure that Lifford becomes a “Tier One” supplier
- Establish Lifford’s role as a “solution provider” for customers
- Manage multiple relationships across the world of wine, spirits & beer
- Ensure agreed activity at Head Office is translated into strong executional plans by the wider sales team

WSET training prefered
|
Experience:
|
* 5-10 years related Sales experience including several in a key account function
* Proven leadership qualities and habits
* Strong knowledge of the sales processes as well as cross-functional exposure to other company business operations (logistics, inventory management, marketing, accounting, supply chain)
* Strong understanding and knowledge of the consumer package goods industry. Alcohol Beverage experience at a high level is preferable
* A valid passport
* No driving restrictions with a clean driver’s licence
