CH Alberta Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Job Summary: The primary function of the Sales & Marketing Coordinator role is to support sales and marketing management in the development and execution of programs and tools designed to facilitate sales growth of the Charton Hobbs portfolio in Alberta.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative, marketing and sales support for the Alberta sales team – work with the Alberta management team on the fundamental aspects of achieving sales objectives through key sales and marketing activities including but not limited to the following:
- Work with marketing team to source, create, and distribute support materials;
- Ensure all sales support materials are up-to-date and readily available to sales team on SharePoint;
- Supplier itineraries – liaise with management in coordinating supplier visits, and working with our Calgary and Edmonton teams and other offices as necessary to coordinate multi-province visits;
- Work closely with the sales team to assist management in the coordination and preparation of various wine shows, tastings, and events;
- Work closely with management and marketing team in preparation of quarterly sales meetings, chain account presentations, and supplier trainings
- Create quarterly focus grids for sales team based on data from sales management
- Utilize internal database to periodically communicate sales targets and objectives for management and sales team usage.
- Assign weekly incoming payables against their respected brand budgets, provide accounting with necessary support documents;

Back up for incoming phone calls for all Alberta sales reps, provide support and materials as needed;

Preparing and sending POS shipments to support the Alberta market and other markets across Canada;

General warehouse duties to keep the Charton Hobbs portion of the warehouse organized and tidy;

Reception duties as required;

Other administrative, marketing, and sales duties as required;
Potential candidates must have completed or be in the process of completing a marketing/graphics/business diploma or degree. Ideally the candidate will have basic wine education/appreciation courses, have a passion for wine and spirits, a valid driver’s license and their own car. This position is based in Calgary.
