On Premise Specialist – Calgary, Alberta

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable full-time, permanent On Premise Specialist to represent one of the leading privately owned wine and spirits agencies in Western Canada.  The Bacchus Group prides itself on its broad range of high quality international products.  Our portfolio of wines, spirits and craft beers is represented by countries from five different continents.

 

 

This role is responsible for the Calgary AB territory and will call on priority on-premise accounts in Calgary, Banff, Canmore and surrounding area. If you are a self-motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to meet sales targets, review the job outline below and apply today!


Job Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Implement and execute territory sales plans by following agreed upon targets and service standards with assigned on-premise / priority retail boutique wine accounts

  • Meet targeted objectives for territory by utilizing sales knowledge, ability to meet and anticipate customer needs

  • Secure new business through sound sales professional and customer service skills

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

  • Proven ability to close the sale

  • Implement marketing and promotional programs to build brand awareness

  • Educate customers about products through staff seminars and consumer tastings

  • Attend promotional and special sales events as required

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Exemplary customer service skills: Including regular contact/communication, problem solving, follow through and attention to detail

  • Meet and exceed set sales forecast expectations from Management

  •  Set and execute personal sales expectations and performance

  •  Preference will be given to candidates with wine knowledge (WSET) and wine sales  experience

Base salary plus incentive bonus, car allowance and benefits commensurate with experience. Business related expenses are also covered.
