Philippe Dandurand Wines Ltd, a leading company in the importing and sales and promotion of wines in Canada, is hiring for On-Trade Territory Manager. This position will be focused on growing our on-trade business in Calgary but will be expected to make monthly trips to Edmonton as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver territory volume and distribution by meeting team and individual targets
- Product and Industry Knowledge.
- Making calls to Key On-Trade accounts through strategic planning while maintaining the highest standards in customer service & excellence.
- Identify and leverage business opportunities.
- Ownership in forecasting territory sales & identifying brands/products required to make it happen.
- Creating and presenting professional PowerPoint presentations for potential new customers that include and utilize current industry data (Provincial & National).
- Cold-calling potential customers.
Technical Requirements & Skills:
- Post Secondary Education
- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in the alcohol and/or food sales industry is a must. Experience with AB preferred.
- Demonstrated relationship-building expertise, exceptional communication skills.
- Computer knowledge (Windows, Office).
- Strong organizational & time management skills.
- Knowledge of the beverage alcohol industry.
- Ability to analyze and interpret industry data to be used in customer presentations.
