Trade Marketing Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

This position will be responsible for trade marketing in Alberta.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Reporting to the Alberta Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the marketing mix including brand plans, promotional programs and A&P control
• Development and implementation of promotional concepts to develop the brands with the product portfolio
• Liaise and coordinate between brand managers and printers/suppliers in order create and source necessary marketing tools
• Build and present quarterly Marketing Plans to the Sales Team and measure against performance

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

• University education in similar field
• 1-2 years’ sales and marketing experience in Alcohol-beverage and/or CPG
• Wine Knowledge will be considered an asset
• Highly Creative
• Strong team player yet also have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Intermediate skill level of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
• Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Ie. Building Pivot Tables)
• Experience utilizing Business Intelligence Platforms (Ex. Cognos)
• Budget management experience
• Strong negotiation skills
• Superior organizational skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

 

• Valid AB driver’s license. Must be able to travel as necessary to be physically present at events, customer visits and meetings.
• Flexibility for evening and weekend work hours
• Current ProServe Certification
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position including lifting 50 lbs., ability to stand for extended periods of time as well as navigating stairs.
