Lone Tree Cellars Inc is a wine agent based in Victoria, BC. Our current headquarters are located at 10817 MacDonald Park Rd, North Saanich, BC. We are seeking a wholesale establishment manager to expand our footprint in the Alberta market. The job will be based in Calgary, but the position will require you to travel to other major centres, including but not limited to Banff, Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Fort McMurray, and Medicine Hat.
As a Wholesale Establishment Manager your ultimate goal will be to get customers to purchase and carry wines represented by Lone Tree Cellars. To this end you will be required to conduct site visits to existing and potential customers in order develop and maintain relationships between them and Lone Tree. You will be responsible for analyzing potential areas of growth and deciding which areas of the province to focus our expansion efforts on. You will occasionally be responsible for entering into price and supply contracts with customers. Eventually, after developing the Alberta market, you will be in charge of hiring and managing a sales force to work underneath you.
Completion of secondary school is a requirement. 8 years of sales experience including 2 years in a position with supervisory responsibility and 2 years experience in developing new markets is required. You must have your own vehicle and be in possession of a valid drivers licence.

This is a permanent position that will commence as soon as an appropriate candidate is identified. Your wage will be $45,000 per year, based on 30 hours of work per week. There is a potential for a yearly bonus of up to 15% of your salary, although this amount is not guaranteed and will depend on yearly results. You will receive 2 weeks of paid vacation per year. In addition to your salary you will be entitled to a car allowance of $500 per month, and up to $500 per month for travel related expenses. You will be eligible for Lone Tree’s benefit plan, which includes extended health and dental insurance.
