Wine Consultant (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

This is an open casting call for a wine professional to act as the Cellar’s new Wine Consultant.

Our leading candidate will be quick witted, dynamic, organized and have the ability to talk one-on-one and to groups for focused wine presentations.

That special someone will have good, to very good wine knowledge, the sales ability to effectively utilize that understanding to drive sales…just directing our clients to the beer fridge and walking away is just simply not enough.

A demonstrable passion for Wine, Spirits and Beer is key!

Very good people skills is a must; you will be an on the floor ambassador for the store.

A proven self-starter with a strong back and work ethic to match helps get the roll. We run lean and fast.

Good computer skills and the ability to function in a MS Office work environment required. ISG level 2 or WSET level 3 training is desirable. A clean driving record is a must.
