Wine Sales Representative (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

The Delf Group is a wine importer representing western Canada and has been in business for over 75 years.  We are seeking a highly motivated, high-energy sales representative in Alberta to represent our portfolio in all trade sectors with a focus on retail accounts.  This is a full-time position based in Calgary.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Maintain sales calls on existing accounts in private retail liquor stores, chains and on-premise accounts.
  • Increase market share of portfolio and customer loyalty through management of existing accounts.
  • Seek and build new business opportunities in all trade channels.
  • Analyze sales-related statistics to strategically build your territory.
  • Organize and participate in trade marketing events to support our portfolio and build brand loyalty.
  • Consistent communication with the President and Director of Sales in British Columbia.

  • Strong work ethic with ability to work some evenings and weekends; overnight travel may be required from time to time.  Must also be able to lift and carry 35+ pounds.
  • Computer skills - knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must possess a valid Alberta Driver's License and have reliable transportation.  Must have and maintain a Canadian Passport.
  • Post-Secondary education preferred. 

Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience.

Compensation will be based on experience and skillset.
