This dynamic and challenging position is responsible for managing the overall provincial sales activities, events execution, sponsorship development and ongoing brand education for Tinhorn Creek Vineyards in Alberta.
EXPERIENCE: University degree and/or minimum of 5 years sales experience. Preferred qualifications include existing trade relationships and management of sales force.
SKILLS: Must be highly organized and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
OUTPUTS EXPECTED:
- Develop, retain and enhance portfolio of existing clients through relationship management of key contacts, ensuring a positive enduring relationship with the winery.
- Reaching annual sales targets
- Reporting and analysis.
- Assistance in the preparation of the annual Marketing Plan
- Attend meetings and special events at winery when required
- Will require travel within Canada and Export Markets
- Nurture collaborative working relationships with all key teams to deliver on brand volume and profit objectives with initiatives that are creative, impactful and on-strategy.
- Ability to focus on multiple tasks and deadlines, and effectively prioritize and manage them; strong project management skills, strong attention to detail and financial acumen.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-energy environment; motivated self-starter and with ability to work daily without guidance.
- Strong PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and data tools (Red books, BCWI Stats).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/OTHER:
- Should be able to lift 40lbs on occasion.
- Must be flexible in work style and schedule, including evenings, weekend and travel. A passion for and desire to be immersed in the wine industry. WSET, wine experience an asset.
