Cellar Hand/Intern (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Contract

  Eau Vivre Winery and Vineyard

  Cawston BC, British Columbia

Harvest mid September-November/December depending on weather.

 

We are seeking a Intern/Cellar hand for this coming Vintage. The successful candidate will assit the winemaker in a very "Hands On" role and these duties will include.

-Sanitation

-Grape receival at the crush pad

-Destem/Crush

-Pressing

-Inoculation/Additions/Cap management

-Raking and all other aspects of winemaking throughout the Harvest.

Requirements:

- Must have previous cellar experience and able to drive a forklift.

-Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs

-Able/Committed to work long hours with no days off for a minium of 6-8 weeks.

15/hour Transportation may be available
