Winery Farmer's Market and Retail Representative (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Creekside is on the hunt for an energetic representative for our farmer’s market program and winery retail store.

We are seeking part-time, primarily weekend support of our highly successful Farmers’ Market Program as well as occasional shifts at our wine shop. This job includes pouring wine samples, wine transactions and educating the public about all things Creekside.  We are looking for great team members to service farmer’s markets in the GTA and surrounding area and/or north of the GTA.

 

Duties will include:

  • Transporting and set up of market booth at the Farmer’s Markets
  • Manning the Creekside Winery booth during market hours
  • Processing sales transactions and managing wine inventory, daily sales reporting to Manager
  •  Providing a memorable experience and excellent customer service
  • Working the winery retail tasting bar, cash out and serving winery visitors
  • Providing assistance at the winery related to all private and signature events.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have your Smart Serve Certification
  •  Winery experience or extensive wine knowledge are preferred attributes.
  • Hours will be primarily part time with 2 days a week (weekends) regularly and potentially more days during the week.
