Assistant Wine Maker / Retail Sales Associate (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

  • Plan and execute production.
  • Monitor the progress of the wine and apply the appropriate handling and processing techniques required to produce premium quality wine
  • Blend finished wines
  • Coordinate bottling
  • Organize Materials
  • Ensure timely maintenance of equipments
  • Maintain production records
  • Ensure organization and sanitation of the cellars
  • Inventory Management
  • Ensure compliance of site operations with company policy and Federal and Provincial regulations (VQA Standards, WCB regulations etc). 
  • Ensure VQA submissions are made in a timely fashion
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation
  • The Assistant Winemaker is expected to be competent in executing required laboratory analyses
  • Manage the on-site retail stores
