Full-time sales representative to represent company’s portfolio in restaurants and private liquor stores. Please apply only if you have 2 + years of experience in LRS and restaurants in Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley with proven sales.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Sell portfolio products while broadening the distribution market and achieving improvements in sales
Maintain and create new sales calls on existing accounts in private liquor stores, chains and on premise (restaurants and hotel) accounts
Build customer loyalty through management of existing accounts
Seek and establish prospect customers and new business opportunities in all trade channels
Tactfully grasp and meet customer's needs
Analyze sales-related statistics to strategically broaden territory
Organize and participate in trade marketing events to present our portfolio and improve brand loyalty
Proficiently handle customer problems and complaints
Suggest means of improving products and services upon analysis
Conduct staff training at restaurants and liquor stores
SKILLS:
Wide acquaintance with local restaurants
Strong and consistent communication and interpersonal skills both with team and with customers
Self-motivated with determination to succeed in a highly competitive market
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Highly organized and able to work under time restraints with attention to detail and accuracy
Dedicated to create and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong work ethic
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Must have and maintain a Canadian Passport
Driver’s license

Successfully get listings from buyers to bring in our products in such a competitive industry where the buyers are constantly persuaded by a number of different distributors. Relationship building, organizing, professionalism, knowledge, persistence and consistent follow-ups are critical elements of the job that comes into play.
