Beer Ambassador (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Colio Estate Wines is recruiting an experienced Beer Ambassador for its growing Agency side of the business.   We have recently expanded our Agency portfolio with the addition of the Warsteiner line of premium beers. Your goal will be to achieve maximum Beer and Wine sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory.  

The successful applicant will possess the following:  

  • A thorough knowledge of the Ontario Beer and Alcohol Industry.
  • Experience calling on Licensees and LCBO retail stores
  • Exceptional product knowledge and the ability to train & educate
  • An established contact base of Licensees.
  • A “Closer” with exceptional sales presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and expenses.
  • A very strong Customer and Results focus.High energy and a self-starter with an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  •  A valid Driver’s License is required.
  •  University or College Degree, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  •  Knowledge of the Wine Industry would be a definite plus.

The duties will include but not be limited to:  

  • Maintaining and submitting on a timely basis, accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms and other documentation as required.

  • Conducting on site product demonstrations and promotions

  • Educate and train Colio, bar and wait staff on products and promotions.

  • Calling on licensees and LCBO stores and managing your call schedule to adequately cover your assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.

  • Coordinating Colio participation at Industry specific shows.

  • Compliance with all Colio policies and procedures and continually maintain a professional image of Colio Estate Wines Inc.

This job will be based out of the GTA and will involve travelling throughout the province. Colio Estate Wines offers a competitive salary package and positive working environment.
