Martin’s Lane Winery is our 15,000 case production, state of the art, gravity flow, premium Pinot Noir Winery in Kelowna, BC. Martin’s Lane Pinot Noir was recently awarded the honour of winning the International Trophy for “World’s Best Pinot Noir” for the 2011 Martin’s Lane Pinot Noir at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London, England. The estate vineyards that produced Martin’s Lane Pinot Noir will supply the fruit for the new Martin’s Lane Winery.
The Cellar Master will contribute effectively as a member of a winemaking team dedicated to producing world-class Pinot Noir and Riesling. Participates in the execution of all winemaking activities related to our single vineyard wines and provides the finest and most intimate Estate winery experience for visitors. This includes general and harvest cellar work, laboratory and team and leadership responsibilities.
University Degree in Oenology/Winemaking with a minimum of three harvest experiences required, one international harvest preferred.
This is a 6 month term position, paying $22.60 per hour. If you come and prove yourself through this term, there is the possibility of this turning into a permanent full time position at the end of the term.
