Cellar assistant (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

We are currently looking for highly motivated and hardworking Cellar assistant.

The successful candidate will be involved in every aspect of production from grape to bottle. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: sanitization of tanks and equipment, transferring and racking from tanks and barrels, pump overs & punch downs, monitoring fermentations, additions, filtering, bottling, operating a forklift, stacking barrels, and of cousre vintage . Previous cellar assistant experience is preferred, but not necessary. This role requires extended hours over vintage. 

Requirements of ideal candidate

Excellent work ethic, reliability and integrity.
Strong commitment to quality with attention to detail.
Strong team player and able to work alone.

Key Skills:

Some knowledge and experience with all cellar equipment.

Knowledge of winery cellar operating procedures.

Knowledge of safe cellar practices, including safe handling of chemicals.

Ability to lift 25KG.
