An Opportunity of a Lifetime

We are seeking exceptional, career-minded people with extensive wine education (WSET, ISG, or similar certification) and a university degree to enroll in the industry’s top fine wine sales apprenticeship program with one of the foremost leaders in the fine wine business in Canada.

Our program includes a 4 month apprenticeship under the direction and tutorship of the industry’s top winemakers, wine educators and sales professionals. Upon successful completion, each participant will be assessed with the potential to be hired into a permanent sales role with Mark Anthony Fine Wine Merchants, the leading privately-owned fine wine sales and distribution company in Canada.


What is Required of You:

• Complete all of the required educational and learning components of the program.

• Drive sales on property through providing unique, VIP experiences for our guests.

• Work in the Tasting Rooms and Salons, lead educational sessions, private tastings and daily tours to VIP and Special Guests.

• Nose all wines prior to special events and provide fine wine sales service at special events.

• Educate guests on wine pairings and upsell to diners in our restaurant environments.


Your Qualifications Include:

• University or College Undergraduate Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related.

• ISG level II or WSET II completion, level 3 preferred.

• Food and Beverage service experience within a fine dining environment.

• Ability to relocate to Kelowna or West Kelowna, beginning in April, 2015, for a 4 month term.

• Must be fully mobile and committed to moving upon graduation from the program for a Sales opportunity within a wine focused market
(Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal).

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in B.C and have a current serving it Right ticket.

• Must be physically capable of performing the physical requirements, lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for long periods.
