Wineshop Associate Job Description

The following is a list of common duties, expectations, and responsibilities in The View Winery Wine Shop and Tasting Room.

·         Greeting and entertaining guests in the wine shop/tasting room

·         Sharing product knowledge and selling wine

·         Conducting wine tastings in compliance to the Serving it Right standards

·         Lifting wine boxes up to 40lbs

·         Stocking wine and retail products

·         Flexibility, availability to work evenings and weekends

·         Using a cash register, handling payments, performing daily cash outs

·         Keeping the tasting bar organized and clean at all times

·         Light cleaning of the wine shop and tasting room area

·         Following daily opening and closing procedures

·         Promoting our brand

 

Management may require you to perform duties outside of this list from time to time.
