Cellar Technologist

The Cellar Technologist performs cellar activities as assigned by the Cellar Master. Generally through the season the Cellar Technologist will participate in harvest operations by processing fruit, juice, wine and lees through fermentation. After fermentation the Cellar Technologist will assist with additions, movements and filtration of wine and lees. During bottling the Cellar Technologist will monitor the bottling line and assist in the preparation of wines for bottling.
Minimum 2-5 years active cellar experience. Forklift, First Aid and Confined Space training a must, Post-secondary training in Chemistry an asset.
References required.
Start Date: May 15th or earlier
Salary range of $40,000-$45,000 to start, depending on previous experience, company benefits for health and dental.
