Vista D’oro Farms is a boutique farm and winery in the Campbell Valley – located in South Langley 45 minutes from Vancouver.  We are dedicated to providing the ultimate agritourism experience in our Farmgate shop and Tasting Room.

 

Vista D'oro Farms & Winery Farmgate Shop & Tasting Room is seeking enthusiastic, outgoing individuals who love great wine and food and can share their passion with guests to join our sales and hospitality team in beautiful South Langley. The ideal candidate must be personable, and skilled in providing exceptional customer experiences. People skills and the ability to multi-task are a must! 

Responsibilities will be varied – including, delivering an exquisite educational tasting experience of both wines and preserves; promoting Vista D'oro & the Preservatory; participating in farm events and in off-site tastings. Duties also include all aspects of daily operations: retail sales, stocking wine and culinary offerings, glass washing/polishing, and other general cleaning. Strong background in food & wine hospitality preferred.

 

Qualifications:

·      Professional, positive demeanor

·      Knowledge of and enthusiasm for wine and food

·      Intense desire to provide the ultimate in hospitality & customer care

·      Ability to conduct tours, host groups & provide educational experience

·      Must be 19 years of age or older

·      Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis

·      Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

·      Greets all visitors to the farm and pours wines for tasting.

·      Describes wines, preserves, and farm history; answers visitor’s questions

·      Assists customers with picnic options at the farm

·      Assists with special events/tastings

·      General cleaning and upkeep of tasting room/picnic area

 

This is a part-time position, which includes a Saturday & Sunday schedule.
