Sales & Logistics Analyst (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Philippe Dandurand Wines Ltd is looking for a Sales & Logistics Analyst - Ontario. The role will be based in our office in Mississauga, Ont.

 Proudly Canadian and family owned, Philippe Dandurand Wines Ltd is the largest agent distributor for imported wine in Canada. We import wine from different countries and our 90 employees across Canada represent its sales, marketing and administration.  The head office is located in Montreal and the company has offices in Calgary and Vancouver, in addition to the Mississauga office.

 This new position will report to the VP Business Development.  The main responsibilities are to oversee the all logistics and the sales forecasts of our wine inventory imported to Ontario.

 Key accountabilities:

  • Supports Sales Director and trade marketing manager in producing accurate sales forecasts and promotional spend forecasts
  • Monitors inventory levels at LCBO to avoid out of stocks situation
  • Manage Consignment inventory and order process
  • Produces ROI analysis related to efficiency of  promotional spends and makes recommendations based on the analysis
  • Liaising with the provincial liquor board for product data maintenance and other logistics

Job requirements:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, logistics or accounting

·         Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Consumer package goods company in which forecasting principles were followed

·         Finance acumen

·         Well organized and detail oriented

·         Strong knowledge of MS Office (Windows, Excel, SQL, etc)

·         Experience in effective team work is essential

·         Customer service oriented

·         Ability to work under pressure and multitask

·         Experience in the wine and spirits industry is a significant advantage
