Colio also produces award winning Craft Cider & Beer under our Thornbury Village banner.  Our Pick-up Truck Pilsner and Blue Mountain Lager have both won gold at the Ontario Craft Brewing Awards. We also boast the top selling Ontario Craft Cider made from 100% fresh pressed Ontario apples.

 

We represent a range of international brands such as Warsteiner Brewery from Germany, Cumulus Estate Wines from Australia, Frisky Zebra from South Africa and a number of other international wine suppliers.

As part of our expansion and succession planning strategy, Colio Estate Wines Inc. requires a full time Sales Coordinator.

 

Position Summary

 

The position is based at our Head Office in Mississauga and reports to the Vice President of Sales. The Sales Coordinator will support the Sales & Marketing team with submissions for products and promotions to the Liquor Boards (nationally), Grocery, Beer Store and Colio Wine Boutiques.  Responsible for entering applications with each channel, updating the promotional tracking grids, provide support to help execute tastings, inventory tracking, promo spend tracking reports and ordering tools for the Field Sales team. 

 

 Key Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for maintaining the Promotional grid tracker for their portfolio, product submissions, trade spend tracking and gathering all information required for their portfolio listings.   Maintenance of this information will be required utilizing MS excel in depth, as well as the LCBO trade website systems such as MPTS and NISS entering applications and forecasts.

  • Responsible for communicating/distributing the Colio Wine Boutiques merchandising grid, ensuring P.O.P. is delivered to each store prior to promotions.

  • Provide back-up support for tastings through the Company’s 3rd party company by completing all submissions for the tastings, the right stores to taste at and being the liaison with the tasting company.

  • General administration and support for trade show booths, ordering materials for the sales team via our 3rd party warehouse, Value Ad’s, Shelf talkers etc.

  • Maintain price list updates in a timely manner.

  • Assist in organizing Sales meetings including travel, meal and accommodation arrangements.

  • Develop annual LCBO agency store and on premise direct mail campaigns and communication.

  • Main point of contact responding to customer concerns.

  • Conducts all administrative requirements as needed supporting the VP of Sales and Ontario Sales Manager as well as provide support to the Sales team as needed.

 

Education, Experience, Key Skills & Attributes

 

  • Post-Secondary education is required ideally in Business

  • Experience supporting or working within Sales, Marketing or Trade Marketing preferred

  • High level Excel skills required plus proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs

  • Problem Solver

  • Good Verbal and Written communication skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail

  • Team Player

  • Communicate and build effective relationships within the different functional departments

  • Works well under limited supervision

  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines

  • Some evening and weekend work necessary (shows & events)

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds
