MANDATE
The mandate consists in implementing the digital content strategy, stimulate the growth of communities and establish dialogue between our suppliers and their target demographic.
The digital content manager will manage the VPD web sites and social media and is responsible for the content and positioning. He/she will participate in defining the strategies for the web and social media to promote the brand. The candidate must also develop partnerships with influential bloggers, increase visibility and customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the development and implementation of digital content strategies
• Think, design and upload all digital content for web sites and social media (images, graphics, videos, web pages and editorial content) and analyze the results
• Develop, revise, write quality content and ensure consistency across all digital platforms
• Ensure compliance with the axis of communication, tone and image of VPD brands and suppliers across all digital platforms
• Ensure the management, animation and monitor all communities daily
• Maintain the reputation and ethics of the organization by applying governance rules
• Measure and interpret the results to recommend optimization
• Implement dashboards and performance reports and inform employees and executive team
• Develop new social platforms or non-exploited platforms to increase VPD digital presence
• Make continuous competitive monitoring
• Manage all steps of the process (quotes, customers follow up, PO, invoice, etc.)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
First cycle degree in business administration (marketing specialization), communications or public relations
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar position
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Bilingualism (oral and written)
• Excellent knowledge of the Web and major social platforms
• Knowledge of analytical software
• Have experience in the use of a content management solution like CMS.
• Knowledge of Magento solution, an asset
• Web writing skills
• Skills in video production and editing, an asset.
• Skills in photo shooting, an asset
