Sales Representative (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, Grocery, the candidate will be responsible to manage and apply sales strategies assigned by the company.  The sales representative will have to optimize sales and ensure to build and maintain professional and productive business relationships with customers and the sales team.
  • Plan and establish for each visit to customers in his territory, priorities, objectives and strategies assigned by the company. 
  • Plan and ensure to manage the territory in order to optimize and meet the objectives of visit frequencies, duration and tasks to accomplish on each visit. 
  • Ensure that each store obtain a complete distribution of products with the positioning and appropriate space while validating that each product has the right code and regular retail price and/or promotional price. 
  • Based on priorities, objectives and corporate strategies (ex. New products, promotions), the representative ensures to have all information, knowledge and documents to communicate, present and obtain customers’ engagement. 
  • Valid and ensure a complete and efficient management of required reports, within required deadlines. 
  • On a weekly basis, plan and communicate plans based on priorities, objectives and tasks to merchandisers and ensure a follow up on the execution in stores. 
  • Inform the Manager on facts and issues that have a positive or negative impact on the evolution and development of sales within the territory. 
  • Identify and seize sales opportunities to optimize the inventory level of products at the time of promotions and/or special events, obtain and ensure a good localization and disposition of  our products on display and ensure that promotional material is in place during promotional activities. 
  • Be involved in the negotiation of retail commercial agreements and ensure that engagements are respected. 
  • Meet and maintain good relationships with all customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) 
  • 3 to 5 years experience in sales, grocery network an asset 
  • Bilingual, with excellent written French 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.), and Internet 
  • Ability of physical efforts to lift 20 Kg cases 
  • Communication, administration, market knowledge and products 
  • Autonomy 
  • Initiative 
  • Good management of time & priorities 
  • Negotiation skills
