JoieFarm is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant with BC Liquor Board experience for our winery located in Naramata. This is an opportunity to work at one of the Okanagan’s leading wineries in terroir-driven cool-climate wines.
The selected candidate will be working directly with our sales, hospitality, and winemaking teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Answering office phones, sending and receiving faxes, sorting emails
- Maintaining database of active licensees and fulfilling orders
- Reconciling inventory in warehouses and arranging wine shipments to support sales
- Submissions to wine awards
- Keeping office and winery supplies stocked
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in the hospitality, tourism or beverage industry
- Understanding of provincial liquor laws and legislation
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Quickbooks
Assets:
- Experience with licensee sales, wine sku’s, and liquor pricing within BC
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Is able to work with a team and independently
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to problem-solve
