Vintage Cellar Hand (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

We need a strong, smart  (preferably experienced) and hardworking person to join our small team.  It is a great opportunity to work with Canada's only qualified Winemaker and Master of Wine.  In 2015 Daydreamer was ranked in the top ten small wineries in Canada.  We are organically run and passionate about small batch winemaking.

Responsiblities include: fruit receival, some basic lab work, cleaning tanks and equipment, maceration management, barrel work, vineyard work where required. Also includes a variety of other tasks as needed.

Requirements: Positive attitude and a self starter

Own transport

Ability to work long hours

Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs.

Abilitiy to work outside in all weather conditions

Vintage experience would be an asset

Forkift experience would be an asset

Must love wine.

Must have a good sense of humour.

 

Competitive, commensurate with experience.
