Léon Courville, vigneron-Domaine Les Brome, situated near Bromont in the Eastern Townships of Québec, is looking for an assistant winemaker for the coming season. This vineyard is well reputed and aims at achieving quality wines. You will joining a small team of highly motivated individuals and your ability to communicate with passionate people is a requirement. The job offering is for the period mid-August to late December and may lead to a full-time employment.

 

Successful candidates

-are highly motivated

-have a working knowledge of French

-have all the required documentation to work in Canada or can obtain it on a short delay

-willing to work varying hours and shifts to accommodate harvest requirements

-have cellar experience and preferably some studies in oenology.

 

The tasks to be performed include

 

-juice and wine analyses

-overseeing presses

-fermentation management and control

-pumping and filtration-juice settling, racking and pumping over

-giving a hand in winery logistics

-barrel duties

-cleaning

 

Salary is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
