Pacific Breeze Winery is looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for customer service and of course, wine!  Prior wine knowledge is an asset but not required.  We are in need of someone who is comfortable speaking to both large and small groups and running winery tastings.  This is a part time position and the candidate must be able to commit to working Thursday and Friday 11am-6pm. Scheduling flexibility is a plus.  If you are looking for more work there are always opportunities to get more involved by running tastings inside and outside of the winery and grow your position within our team.                                                                        

Duties:

Educate guests about Pacific Breeze Winery and our winemaking style/philosophy through conversation, tastings, and tours

Process Sales and complete orders

Keep up with and respond to e-mails and messages throughout the day

Position Requirements:

Outgoing and passionate about wine

Good computer skills: Must be able to process payments, respond to e-mails, and use Microsoft Word and Excel

Commitment to working Thursday and Friday 11am-6pm

Must be able to lift a case of wine (30-40lbs) to stock shelves

Access to a vehicle to transport wine and supplies to and from Farmer’s Market is not required but is a plus

Current Serving It Right Certification

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in B.C.

We are located in New Westminster and our passion is to produce small-lot, handcrafted wines sourced from premium vineyards located in California, Washington and B.C. wine growing regions. We work with only the highest quality grapes from these carefully selected vineyards and gently harvest at the peak of ripeness. We baby our wines from grape to barrel to bottle making every effort to fashion vineyard-designate wines that are a natural expression of the place they are grown.  We are looking for someone with the same passion and enthusiasm that we put into our product.
