Lundy Manor Wine Cellars is a new estate winery located in Niagara Falls, Ontario with a focus on premium VQA wines.
We are currently seeking a talented individual for the primary leadership role of Hospitality & Operations Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish the winery retail store as Lundy Manor is set to open in the near future.
The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented self starter who has vision and the capacity to follow through on execution.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establishing and executing the daily operations of the winery retail store and tasting bar
- Developing a service standard to provide exemplary customer service
- Hiring, training, and managing retail staff as required
- Managing customer relationships and responding to customer inquiries
- Administrative tasks such as scheduling, managing a budget, and regulatory reports
- Developing and executing a sales and marketing strategy
- Creating and executing an event portfolio
- Researching and establishing tourism partnerships including wine tour programs
- Ordering supplies / merchandise, and maintaining vendor relationships
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a winery management position or related field
- Knowledge and understanding of winery regulations and regulatory reporting
- Formal education in hospitality, wine, sales and marketing, or related field
- Excellent organization, time-management, communication, and leadership skills
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required
