BIG Head Wines is a family operated winery in the heart of Niagara wine country.  We are recruiting individuals with a strong work ethic and good attitude to join our Cellar team.

 

Position Responsibilities:

-Experience in all aspects of cellar activities including but not inclusive of:

• filtration
• racking
• cleaning

-Willingness and ability to work long physical hours - not just during harvest but as required

-Excellent communication skills

-Able to work independently and as part of a team

 

Position Requirements:

-Degree or Dipolma in Oenology

-3 years cellar experience, with International experience considered an asset

-Operating, cleaning and maintaining winery equipment

-Conducting laboratory analysis

-All aspects of Harvest including but not inclusive of:

• fruit receival
• processing
• monitoring fermentation

-Barrel Operations

-Warehouse Organization - forklift operations, shipping and receiving

-Bottling line operations 

-Ability to lift 100lbs

Those candidates with specialized winemaking equipment experience will be given priority.
