Job Description

Cellar Hand will work closely with the winemaker in every stage of the winemaking process.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Intake/inspection of grapes, operating the press, pumps and other winemaking equipment, working extended hours during harvest (sometimes evenings and weekends), managing ferments, cap management, cleaning and sanitation, barrel work, racking, topping, transfers, preparing wine for bottling, driving forklift, sampling wine for testing.

An ideal candidate will have a certificate or diploma in winemaking/viticulture, minimum 2 years prior winery experience, forklift license, Valid G drivers license, physically fit - able to lift 50lbs, able to follow detailed instructions, spoken and written English, punctual, a self starter and someone willing to work as part of a team.
