Are you a sales oriented, creative marketer? Do you enjoy seeing your ideas grow into something more? We are currently seeking immediate employment for a creative, tech savvy, wine marketer with social media, direct sales and communications skills.
Join Pillitteri Estates Winery’s marketing department as a Direct Sales Ambassador. You will see your ideas convert to wine sales across Canada.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct Sales
- Wine Club Sales
- Data entry and analysis
- Retail winery sales, tours, hospitality
- Social media execution, daily management
- On and off-site winery ambassador, event planning and assistance
- Marketing research
- Content development and updating
- Consumer database management
- Creative development, copy-writing
- Administrative tasks
Successful applicants will have a strong sales background, with proven ability to foster long term customer relationships. A positive, energetic and thoughtful personality with an interest and desire to be a face of the Pillitteri brand. The ability to liaison with sales departments (including on site retail) to develop, coordinate and execute marketing, training and sales programs. An understanding of sales, tourism and hospitality.
A background in retail, club based or direct to consumer sales is a requirement. Understanding of sales strategy, sales programs and customer database management is an asset. The majority of the time in this position is in a sales environment.
Additional skills or experience in MS Office, Adobe Software, administrative and data entry would be invaluable. Ability to think creatively to develop and execute marketing activities with both global, regional and local objectives in mind. General understanding of brand development and copy-writing. Basic knowledge of wordpress CMS, SEO and SEM is useful. Wine knowledge is an asset but not required. Must be Smart Serve Certified.

Compensation will begin at $16.00 per hour plus 2% commission on direct sales, with 35 to 40 hours weekly.
