Tasting Room Associate (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

BIG Head Wines is a family operated winery in the heart of Niagara wine country.  We are currently looking for dynamic individuals to join our team.  

Position Responsibilities:

-Exemplary customer service skills with a desire to exceed our guest's expectations

-Educate guests about the BIG Head winemaking process through structured tastings 

-Ability to transition effectively between daily tasks and sales opportunities

-Well spoken, self-starter, driven with an outgoing personality

 

Position Requirements:

-Minimum 2 years Hospitality experience preferably in the wine industry

-Formal wine training or wine certifications an asset

-Smart Serve certified

-Availability to work days, weekends and some evenings

-Must be able to meet physical demands of the position.  These include but may not be inclusive of:

  • standing for extended periods of time
  • repetitive lifting 
  • lifting up to 50lbs.
