Position Summary:
Within the Client Service team, the Project Manager (Beverage Alcohol) will work side by side with the Director of Client Services to support assigned customers and retailers.
This person will be responsible for coordinating the day to day execution of the tactical, operational requirements and expectations of customers.
The focus of the Project Manager is to drive and oversee service delivery to assigned customers through proactive cross functional communication with functional peer groups: Operations, Finance, HR, and Admin.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for, but not limited to:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients in the Beverage Alcohol industry
· Facilitate daily communication with clients for inquiries or requests pertaining to service status, scheduling, reporting, or general support needs
· Prepare Scope of Work, service agreements, client budgets and operating budgets for all programs
· Spearhead brand marketing event programming and execution
· Daily interaction with internal cross functional team to ensure service delivery is met
· System/Tools: Project set up: assignments, project materials based on scope of work provided by clients and retailers.
· Monthly reporting and invoicing to clients on scheduled basis
· Ensure Operations team has all necessary scope of work and tools to execute events
· Build strong relationships with clients
Required Skills/Experience:
· Minimum 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Beverage Alcohol industry
· 3+ years experience in agency, marketing/merchandising services
· Knowledge, experience, and expertise in marketing, merchandising, event services with a strong focus on beverage alcohol. Good connections with LCBO and suppliers. Good understanding of Grocery
· Strong sense of administrative and project management methodologies
· Budget management and financial skills
· Excellent writing and communication skills
· Strong cross-functional stakeholder communications and engagement
· Strong relationship-building skills with customers
· Flexible, can-do attitude, with ability to thrive in highly dynamic environment
· Advanced skills with MS Office applications, Visio, Word, Project, Power Point and, Excel
· Proficient and effective communication skills on email, conference calls, and in person with clients
· Negotiation skills for contracts, pricing
· Outstanding organizational skills
